I couldn’t attend the webinar live so I’m so glad I got to watch it this way. Thank you so much to you and Elliot for the thorough overview of this very overlooked topic. My son goes to Guidepost Montessori so I’m definitely feeling the tension of it being the only high quality program in my area, but SO expensive, and now I have a better idea of why. I naively assumed it meant they were paying teachers a living wage but that may not necessarily be the case.

If special interest groups and private equity put money into early learning they influence how money the money is used. It also influences the curriculum. The private equity could also influence the hiring, wages and enrollment in the childcare.
